2003 Lincoln Navigator Liftgate Door Unlocking Driver Window Not Working

I took off the interior door panel today and saw that there is a cable instead a rod that might have been bent. There are no window switches on the driver or passenger side doors. Doors do lock and unlock from remote transmitter.
